The Douglasville Conference Center is officially reopening following a comprehensive interior refresh designed to enhance the experience for visitors, event organizers, and the community. The facility, located at 6700 Church Street, Douglasville, GA 30134, will reopen to the public on Monday, February 16, 2026.
Before the official reopening, the city will host its first City Council meeting in the updated space on Thursday, February 12, offering residents an early look at the refreshed facility.
The recent improvements include new carpet, updated furniture and fixtures, enhanced lighting, refreshed wall covering, and fresh paint throughout the building. These upgrades modernize the space while maintaining the Conference Center’s role as a central gathering place for meetings, events, and community functions.
“The Conference Center is a key part of how we attract meetings, events, and visitors to Douglasville,” said Jennifer Johnson, Conference Center and Tourism Director. “This refresh allows us to better showcase our city, support local tourism, and provide a modern, welcoming venue for guests from across the region.”
The Douglasville Conference Center hosts a wide range of events, including meetings, conferences, receptions, and civic functions. The refreshed interior provides a more comfortable and visually appealing environment for both small gatherings and large-scale events.
